A prominent town in Baghpat District, Daula is situated at the junction where two state highways leading from Meerut and Khekra meet. It is about 15 km east of Baghpat, the district administrative center, with which it is connected by a link road.
Baleni, situated 11 km east of Daula, is a place closely associated with Maharshi Valmiki. Baraut, another town which lies 17 km north of it, is a flourishing multi-religious center.
