Road Bridge

Although the Hartford and Northwich by-pass was not completed at the Hartford end until the late 1960s, this bridge was completed around 1939 in anticipation of the road being extended. But the war intervened, and it was over 30 years later that the bridge actually crossed any road. The extensive cutting had been excavated pre-war as well
