The New York production facility for Chobani Yogurt. The history of this facility dates back to 1920 when it was used by Phenix Cheese Company to produce Philadelphia brand cream cheese, and went into Kraft's hands when it merged with Phenix in 1928. At some point, over the courses of many changes of hand of the Kraft name (as it became one of the largest food manufacturers in the world), it switched to yogurt making (Breyer's, non-frozen variety), it closed in 2005.

It was bought by Hamdi Ulukaya in 2007 to manufacture Greek-style yogurt, launching the Chobani Yogurt brand.
