Diepenbeek Station is a railway station along line 34 (Hasselt - Liège) in the Belgian municipality of Diepenbeek. The station was opened in 1856 along the new railway line between Hasselt and Maastricht. From the end of the 1950s the station lost its importance and was closed. When was the Limburg University Centre established in 1973 in the vicinity of the former station, there was an increasing demand for the students to reopen the station. This finally happened in 1991 when there was a stop opened on the site of the former station.
