ruins, interesting place
Dun Troddan Broch is an ancient Pictish site near Eilanreach, Scotland. This inner passage may have originally been in the Dun Telve Broch (another broch west of this one), but this one is still in tact. The construction of Dun Troddan and Dun Telve brochs are very interesting in that there are long rocks placed across these gaps for support of the walls above - in fact, the stairs shown here may also be supports for the walls.
