Actually...these people who are criticizing Mayor Atty. Enrico Recom Echiverri doesn’t know much of what they are talking about!

As what the saying goes...little knowledge is dangerous! Dangerous in the sense that they are giving false accusations to the person who is indeed REFORMING CALOOCAN!

I strongly suggest that they visit the vicinity of Bagong Silang, wherein most of the major roads are under construction. To be particular…road widening with drainage system! More than 10 covered courts constructed and some are still under construction, Additional 8-10 classrooms per school. School supplies and feeding program for elementary students that are financially incapable.

He was the only Mayor in the history of Caloocan who was able to give Patrol service for the Barangays and Police Department of the city, so that they can easily respond to different situations that needs their immediate action. This is 1 of the reason why crime rate lowers with his present administration.

Way back when I was still in college at the University of the East – Caloocan Campus, I was very much disrupted by the stagnant flow of traffic ranging from Gen. Tinio to Letre. With my first class at around 7:30am I always reach my destination late with the clock round quarter to 9am. But now, everything has changed I was able to travel the same path in less time, thanks to the Reformed DPSTM, MMDA traffic sector, and Police that monitors the busy roads of the city.

He also Reformed the city of disgusting pile of garbage, through the combined effort of the Mayor, his son Congressman RJ ECHIVERRI, Bgy Officials, ESS personnel’s, and the Caloocan City constituents.

In addition I would like to mention our area wherein it received 2 “ASPHALT” project coming from the past administration. 1 from Asistio and 1 from Malonzo, after such projects are long drought that was cured only by the present administration of Mayor Atty. ENRICO RECOM ECHIVERRI, he gives our area not Asphalt project but a CONCRETED ROAD (1st time in the history of our place to taste cemented roads) in the stretch-long of parkland (BGY 177). Plus, another covered court and concrete road in Bgy. 163

For Everyone’s Information Mayor Atty. RECOM ECHIVERRI was able to REFORM CALOOCAN in just 1 term, meaning in just 3 yrs he was able to transform a notorious place into a renowned city. Modesty aside it is only 3 yrs…Compared to the past administrations that had 3 long terms! 9 years of just sitting and sleeping in power.
Accusations of Graft and Corruption..? As what JESUS said before “HE WHO COMMITS NO SIN CASTS THE FIRST STONE” don’t tell me that other politicians are clean from graft and corruption. Id rather stick to someone who is a thief but has a heart that thinks of his constituents than someone who just keeps on robbing the city and has no accomplishment to rely on! Why don’t we just get along and help in REFORMING our beloved City!

Abusive?!?! in what way is that abusive.. stupid.. can't you see the lights he put on the streets, which is not working after three months? did u see the tax permit he ordered in BPLO 2nd floor of cityhall charges to high without any ordinances or papers to support the increase of payment. So they put on that extra high tax to fix the lights in the road which now is broken and not working. Do you own a land in caloocan? which the caloocan cityhall charges to high for the real proprety tax. Are you an ordinary citizen of caloocan? everybody will be affected if tax impose is to high.. Are you paying tax? if yes.. my message here is not abusive.. if you are ordinary citizen.. and supporter of this recom. well it is abusive to you.. because you don't pay tax and maybe you are blind (not literally).. manhid.

It is okay for that reason he build a school or other cemented road to gain access.. but increasing the tax without notice or papers is illegal. Go around the business establishment.. ask if there tax increase in renewal of business permits? Did you know.. i renewed my permit, presented a annual gross sales of 600-700k, they charge me for 2 million bracket. Thats 26k annual tax. The only reason they said why did they do that is because caloocan city hall has no funds. Is that justified because of no fund they will use real property tax and permit tax to gain funding of caloocan city. They should post on wall of cityhall that "TAX IS INCREASE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE". They do it without papers to impose increase in tax.. By the way. school project should be thanks to the people of caloocan who paid there tax, not recom. Imbis na "Project of Echiverri Recom" it should be "Project of People of Caloocan". Recom is only One out of millions who live in caloocan. And the money that build it is the people of caloocan, not money of Recom only.. Get it.

To Mayor Recom Echiverri people of Caloocan is looking for true reform in the city of Caloocan. They could only see that only you can initiate such true reform. If the walls could only speak, or if you could only hear them.. Please lowerer the tax rate. BPLO is not following the guideline for taxing the right amount for renewal of business tax.

As you guys dont know or let me throw back the word blind on you..

dont you know that before Mayor Recom Echiverri Assumed his position, there is "NEGATIVE FUNDS" meaning caloocan was very much debted by the former administrations and did you see any projects that would support such indebtedness of the city?. And If you were in his place what would you do to resolve such problem if not for tax increase...through SOLICITATION?!
And how can such reform projects be initiated without funds? I hope with this it will able to help you realize reality.

As far as I know there is such ordinance on real property tax that would support this tax increase.

1 person cant do this alone, that is why everyone must contribute. I bet you see that your contributions through tax was converted to projects, and at the same time payment for payables of the former administrations.

Lets put it this way...through the Mayors initiative such projects were built...from the past administrations was there any project like the ones we have now? the answer is NO. Meaning all funds were disbursed but not for projects...(is it in the pocket!?)

We all want reform, and through Mayor Recom we found it. We believe in his vision. And I know that majority of us, the constituents of Caloocan City believes in his vision too, that is why Reform Caloocan will continue.

Another saying goes..You cant put a "GOOD MAN, DOWN!"

One more thing...for everyones information. delay in GSIS remittances is not the fault of Mayor Recom. You can check the INCLUSIVE DATE when such delays happened...."1998 - 2004"...Now you know whose hand is in the cookie jar!

PEACE!

MABUHAY ANG LUNGSOD CALOOCAN!

LETS CONTINUE REFORMING CALOOCAN!

So you say and believed that increasing tax just to justify reforming one city like caloocan without due process and illegal is right thing to do?

I know that recom's reform for the city is good. I can see that in my area. But can you say it is justify to put that street lights along rizal avenue that is not working anymore at night... Is that justify to get from the people who pay there taxes to high..

You said that previous mayor put the cityhall in debt or negative. Is it justify to get that from citizen who work so hard just to keep there means of living...

The problem here is not the vision or the person per se.. its the way of implimenting the law.. which is not yet passby the city counsil... Where is the ordinances for such increase in tax?

Did you applyed for renewal for business permit? It is our right to ask for ordinace.. but sad to say that I ask but none is given.. they only told me "sabi sa taas (office), taasan ang tax".

Anyway.. What I see is that Robin hood is still alive...
