Old Shulpaneshwar Temple

Here was the very old Temple of SHULPANSHWAR (SHIV MANDIR)in jungle, which had gone under water after Sardar sarovar was filled by water. The OLD SHIVLING and Temple was kept there. A script marked the description on a copper plate is burried in front of Temple after a great religeous cerimony and a new Shivling duly worshipped was carried by Shree PRAVIN NAIK of Ahmedabad in lap, and it wad innograted at Village GORA in new temple 20/25 kms off side of Sarovar(RAJPIPLA -KEWADIA COLONY ROAD),away in year 1993,we were some of the participatants of the event.The priest was SHREE Ravishankar Karuna shankar Trivedi among other were Shree Dinsha Patel,MLA ,Rajvaidya Hirubhai Vaidya of Nadiad,Sumant Vashi of Ahmedabad and hundreds of other from nereby villages ..
