  • I studied in this school from class A to class IV, from 1968 to 1973. It is a long long time ago. I think it is now a girls school. I remember only a few of my friends/classmates -- Navin Chetri, Deepak Chetri, Aloysious, Trilok Lama, Asha Lama, Mathews John, Himani Talapatra, Smita Kolte, Nzambemo, Tumse Jamir, and of course Sahana Nandi who was again with me in my engineering college (Bengal Engg college) during 1982 to 1986.   • I went to this school in the early 80's right before I moved to United States Of America. It is a all girls school. I don't remember much about my schooling in Inida but whatever little memories I have about Little Flowers are good ones.
  • The best school ever, period...The sisters running the school were far ahead of their times. Today everyone talks about holistic schooling focused on all-round development of children - LFS had it nailed more than 40 years ago. Extra-curricular activities such as music, dance, dramatics, debating, elocution, sports (basketball, badminton primarily) were an integral part of our academic lives - performance was measured in inter-house competitions. As a kid, I thought moral science (compulsory) lessons were boring and unnecessary but now realize that some of the values I still carry (politeness, honesty, modesty, cleanliness, punctuality) were inculcated there. Thank you, LFS - I owe all my successes in life and the ability to deal with failures to you!!!
