Designed c. 1904 by Guy Lowell for John Ernest Alexandre. It was subsequently purchased by Mrs. Arthur F. Schermerhorn, who renamed it “Schermeer.” The house was later owned by the Lenox School for Boys and Bible Speaks College.
It is now the centerpiece of a planned luxury resort.
