Former location of Wasena Street, which before it's closing was the smallest public roadway in Charlotte (and possibly North Carolina as a whole). Wasena Street (along with the exits to many other streets in the neighborhood, Chantilly) ceased to exist in Feb. 1995 due to the widening of Independence Blvd.
