Velim Church (Goa)

"Velim" has two churches, one in Velim proper, the other in a different ward called Tolleacanto. This one is in Velim proper, the St. Francis Xavier Church (constructed by four or five clans ... Colaco, Barros, Vaz-Falcao ... that migrated from Carambolim, then a precinct of the City of Goa -- Old Goa, in the years of that city's decline and fall. Old Goa houses the relics of their patron Saint.)

The church at Tolleacanto is dedicated to St. Rocque.
