swamimukku junction where five roads meet.
This Junction got it's name from the late P.V Kalyanarama Iyer of Peralam House who was popularly known as Swami in these parts. This was the place where he used to stand for buses to go to the city and hence this place came to be known in the locality as 'Swamimukku' or 'Swami's corner'.
