  used to be a much larger beach and had showers. over time the beach eroded away to what we see today. mascot dock used to be the july 4 fireworks too. things have changed alot. I remember the intersction prior to it now super big intersection at sunrise and 112. the home depot store area used to be floyds dept store and many other names. the pathmark food store area was the old hot houses for flowers and many old pretty homes torn down to make way for pathmark. as a child i went to the nursery school down the road near the rear of home depot. the big empty parking lot near mascot dock used to be a large chinese restaurant, but burned on night many many many years ago. things have changed alot.
