One of the oldest Macedonian orthodox churches in the entire United States. The new cathedral was needed to replace the existing church located at S. Napoleon Ave and Medway in Whitehall, OH because of the ever-growing community of Macedonians in Central Ohio. Sadly the old church was gutted in an act of arson one month before the dedication of the new cathedral in October 2006.
