A primitive hike-in only beach camping and swimming area on the shore of the Columbia River run by the Grant County PUD. To access or camp, you must pack in all equipment on foot from the parking area through high sage & soft sand or arrive by boat. Sand Hollow is a primitive and 'free' walk-in camping area with port-a-potty's and dumpsters near the parking area. Weekdays you will usually have it to yourself. Weekends, this is a very popular camping area and many boaters. It also provides access to a small clothing optional beach area at the very far East end of the area.
