Rothenburg Tower Gate (dates from around 1390), a stepped gable decorated with flat columns. Torture chamber and prison cells on the second floor. The tar holes and the projecting construction with its hipped roof and bays are witnesses of the importance of Dinkelsbühl’s fortifications.
