It's a village in Nawadah District of Bihar, which is in dark after 60 years of independence..No Electricity...Even road connectivity was established in 1996 and presently it in terrible condition and daily two/three buses run between Nawadah & Siur....Resident Bhumihars are farmers and occupy most of the land. The Name has its originiation from Shiv-Ur i.e. "Heart of the Lord Shiva". The Only bank in village is Punjab National Bank
