Gidheshwar Pahad falls in the District of Jamui. It is in Khaira Block. The hill is full of forest.Numberless vultures reside on this hill.There is a dam close to this hill. A temple of Lord Shiva is also lacated near the foot of this hill.I once visited this place with my nephew Shri Ashok Kumar Sinha and worshiped in the temple.The place is calm.It looks nice.

  • i am from jathar which is very close to the dam. And my village is at the footage of the hill. it is a wonderful place all around. one can really enjoy the greenland. the place if 25km away from the city called Jamui.
  • according to comprihensive history of bihar part-II- A temple of mata banglamukhi is at the top of hill.
