There is a rugged, tight, waterfall near the mouth of Fostall creek. One day, myself and two friends parked our boat a half kilometer north of the creek-mouth and climbed to the top of the forested hill. To our surprise and amazement, we looked down upon a huge sandbank that had been carved out by the creek. It can be seen as a large light colored area on the map, north of the mouth of Fostall creek.
