Built in 1899, large Jacobean-style house designed by T. Henry Randall for banker Henry W. Poor {financier}. Poor was the founder of Standard & Poor's. Constructed in the grand manner with slate roof, finials and balustrades, mullioned leaded windows, deep relief ceilings with hand painted insets, marble fireplaces, paneled halls, dining room, smoking room and drawing room, limestone carved doorways, and sculptured terraces.
