Passenger terminal building of the new airport in Erbil. In use since August 2010. The new airport with all its facilities (new terminal, new runway) can accommodate airplanes of all sizes, including A380.
Its style reminds very much of Dubai airport. With good reason - DNATA (Dubai's ground handling agency) helped to set it up.
The old terminal building 2 km to the south west is no longer in use for commercial flights.
