The plot of land was operated by the Ministry of Defence. It was illegally transferred for development purposes suggesting construction of 1 25-storey building of 192 flats. The necessary approvals were never received. Hundreds of old trees were cut. As of 2020, over 2,000 flats are planned to be built.
