Before the National Highway 8 was converted into a four lane highway, there was a beautiful tank (talao) which was covered with pink and white lotuses. After the widening of the Highway, a large portion of the talao was filled to enable the widening and straightening of the highway. What remains is a small strip of sunken land which is filled in the monsoons.
