This World War I memorial statue in Old Eldon Square (1923), Newcastle, includes Charles Hartwell's bronze statue of St. George and the dragon. The Portland Stone plinth includes bronze reliefs of 'Justice' and 'Peace' . A replica of this statue stands at Marylebone, London, again to mark the fallen in the Great War (1914-1918).
