Tsernornoviti today is Ghost village, the inhabitents went to the new location Palaiokerasia.  Located at an altitude of 920 meters perched on mountain Othrios. The route from the current village Palaiokerasia to the old village Czernowitz requires 1.30 to 2.00 hours walking. Up the river Vella in place Linaria road is downhill.
