1830s construction, Greek Revival (architecture)
5-story Greek-revival building completed in 1832 for owner Harriet White. It was then occupied by the merchant firm of Stanton & Starkweather. It is clad in red-painted brick above a granite storefront. The trabeated granite piers of the storefront support a wide stone architrave. The upper floors have three bays of windows with stone sills and lintels. A brick fascia and cornice terminate the facade. The ground floor is occupied by Stix Water Street.
