Located above Badeth village in the Raath region of Pauri Garhwal, t's a small lake and an ancient temple on the top of hill (both by the same name) with an average elevation of 2400 metres. The place has great scenic beauty and offers mesmerizing views of the foothills, Dudhatoli mountains and the great himalayas. Tarakund along with the surrounding region has a high potential to be developed as a tourist hub.
