The manor, first mentioned in 1494, was associated with the noble families of Farensbach, von Flemming, von Nascakin, von Wetter-Rosenthal, von Baranoff and von Wilcken. The Early-Classical two-storey main building was constructed in the manor in 1818. In the 20th century the building was used as a school, and is currently privately owned. By the historical distribution the manor was in Märjamaa Parish in Läänemaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Märjamaa Municipality in Raplamaa County.
