Drombu Gompa (ruins)

First a Drigung-Kagyü monastery, it was converted into a Gelugpa one. In 1958 there were 141 monks living here, among these two incarnate lamas. Reopening of the monastery was in May 1981. Chin.: Bangbu Si. Now in ruins due to an earthquake. The new one was constructed further down the river.
