144-foot, 14-story Neo-Renaissance cooperative-apartment building completed in 1925. Designed by F. H. Dewey & Company, it is clad in buff-colored brick above a 2-story limestone base. The ground floor facing Park Avenue has five bays of tall round-arches, with the main entrance in the center bay that is framed by large quoins. It has bronze-and-glass double-doors below a rounded, green canvas canopy extending out over the sidewalk, topped by a stone panel carved with "510 PARK AVENUE" and a fanlight with a decorative gilded grille. The arches bay to the north has a commercial bank entrance with black wood-and-glass double-doors (divided into many small panes) below a frosted-glass fanlight, and the north end bay has a plate-glass window. The two southern bays have plate-glass show-windows. In between the northern bays are two much smaller bays with single-windows, and in between the southern bays are two smaller bays with a bronze-and-glass door to the retail space in one, and a small show-window in the other. The edges of the base are framed by quoins. The upper floors have double-windows at the center bay, and paired windows in the other four main bays, and narrow single-windows in the four bays in between. The base is capped by a stone band course with a pattern of diamonds along its bottom edge.
The 3rd floor is topped by a dentiled band course that also has an egg-and-dart molding. Stone keys framed the edges of the facade at the 4th-12th floors, and there are stone cornices below the 7th & 13th floors. At the 10th floor a projecting stone balcony with balusters is carried on six console brackets and spans the three main middle bays. The 14th-floor penthouse is set back from the lower roof line and is clad in brick, topped by a sloped red tile roof.
The north facade on 60th Street has three large round-arches with plate-glass and scrolled keystones at the middle, and another two on each end. The base is again edged in stone quoins, and capped the same band course. The 2nd floor has five single-windows above the three middle arches, but paired windows above the others, with this pattern continuing on the upper floors. They have the same trim and ornament as on the east facade.
The west facade is clad in brick, facing a narrow alley, and has a few bays of paired and single-windows. The building is roughly U-shaped, wrapping around a courtyard at the south end. It was converted to a co-op in 1946, with 25 apartments. The ground floor is occupied by Scully & Scully home goods store, and formerly a Chase Bank branch which is now vacant.
