Opened in very late June 2012 in order to replace the old Kroger location just west of here, this 117,000 square foot Kroger Marketplace features all the normal Kroger facilities common to normal and Signature stores (the basics, including florist, pharmacy, a Starbucks coffee kiosk, a somewhat larger book area, etc.) but also features expanded general merchandise (including a Fred Meyer Jewelry store), which (at least initially) included Ashley Furniture HomeStore furniture and home décor, though Kroger seems to be phasing these out.
