  • Visit Haripad. A great place with very strong traditional backgrounds. His Highness Kerala Varma Valliyakoyi Thampuran wrote"MAYOORA SANDESAM" while he was under House Arrest at Ananthapuram Kottaram (Very near to Sree Subrahmanya Swamy Temple) I felt very much nostalgic when I saw my birth place in Google Earth. Myself studied upto my IV th standard at Vettuveni Mannur Primary School. I still remember a few names at that time. Vijayan, Viswanathan, Krishna Iyer, Devi, Jagada Bai, Rema, Elizabeth Thankappan, Mazhuppayil Sreekumar.A few teachers' name also. Ammukutty Amma, Panicker Sir, Annamma teacher. My UP level and High School level was at Govt.Boys High School, Harippad. My self was at Std.XB. Where my friends were Karthikeyan, Parasnnan, Krishna Iyer, Unnikerishnan, Narayana Lal. Then I switched Off to Nangiarkulangara TKMM College for my Pre Degree. I remember some names : Rajagopal or Rajagopal (Now no.2 at Matha Amrithanandamai Math, Sree Devi, Jaya, Mariam George,Devidas, Viswa Prasad, Bhama krishnan etc., and some teachers : Joseph Sir (Economics), Retna Bai (World History), Nanappan Sir (History)etc. Subsequently myself had gone through Ernakulam Maharaja's College, Bharatiya Vidyabhavan, Kerala Press Academy, Bharat Mata College etc. Currently residing at Kalamassery.
