Edom Hills (repower) Wind Farm is located along Varner Road about 2 miles east of Interstate 10 Exit 123 and 2 miles north of Exit 126, northeast of Palm Springs, California. Commissioned in 2008, it consists of 8 Clipper Liberty C93 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 20 MW.
This repowered wind farm is located on the same site as the original Edom Hills wind farm, which was developed in (about) 1985 and consisted of 139 Windmatic wind turbines with a combined rated capacity of 10.8 MW.
