Fine house and gardens in the care of the National Trust. Polesden Lacey is an Edwardian house (expanded from an earlier building) at Great Bookham, near Dorking, Surrey, England.

Originally it was a 1820s Regency villa in a magnificent landscape setting. The house was was owned in 1906 by the Hon Mrs Ronald Greville, a well-known Edwardian hostess. Her collection of fine paintings, furniture, porcelain and silver are in displayed in the reception rooms and galleries. There is extensive 1,400 acre grounds, walled rose garden, lawns and landscape walks around the house.
