PT. Caraka Mulia was established on January 7, 1988 based on Notaris Deed Raharti Sudjardjati SH No. 18 then validated by Ministry of Justice No. C2-1987.HT.01.01.TH.88 dated on March 2, 1988. Company obtained its license from Ministry of Finance No. Kep 3285/M/1988 dated on April 6, 1988 and renewed it by Insurance Director, Finance Directorate General, Ministry of Finance No. S.153/MK.17/2000 dated on May 1,2000. PT. Caraka Mulia is active as a member of Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers Association (ABAI)

PT. Caraka Mulia was previously a subsidiary company of Bank Ekspor Impor Indonesia (Bank Exim) on of the state owned Bank. Then on 1999 the Government decided to merge four state owned Bank i.e Bank Exim, BBD, Bapindo and BDN which aim is to form solid Bank. The fussion of those four bank is PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk

PT. Caraka Mulia has more than enough capital as required by the government. PT. Caraka Mulia has already a "Professional Indemnity" Policy that covering its operational business to running well and save and also have many Insurance Expert.

PT. Caraka Mulia has its own building occupied as head office located in South Jakarta, Representative offices have been opened in Medan, Bandung and Makassar. Considering the increasing number of our clients outside Jakarta, management of the company has plan to launch another branches or representatives offices in Surabaya, Pekanbaru, Balikpapan, Palembang and Denpasar. This policy is also made to meet requirement of PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk in serving their clients. However, PT. Caraka Mulia is always ready to compete with other Insurance Brokers in getting business from non Bank Mandiri account in order to expand its portfolio
