207W79 Condominium

USA / New Jersey / West New York / West 79th Street, 207
 condominium, postmodern (architecture)

158-foot, 13-story Postmodern residential building completed in 2018 for Anbau Enterprises. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects, it is clad in white brick with decorative white terra-cotta panels, with rusticated limestone at the 3-story base. The ground floor has a central entrance with glass-and-metal triple-doors, flanked by a window on either side, all below a black metal canopy. At either end is a glass-and-metal storefront with glass doors flanked by two window panes on either side, and wide metal louvers on top.

Above the ground floor the facade is organized into four bays - the middle two with paired windows, and the outer bays each with three windows, all casement style with stone sills and brick lintels. Separating the windows in each bay from the 4th-11th floors are vertical panels of terra-cotta with abstract, leafy, floral designs. The outermost windows at each end wrap around a grey mullion at the corners, to continue on very narrow east- and west-facing sections, with the outer edges of the facade slightly set back from the window bays. The roof line is marked by a brick cornice composed of four thin bands, each of which projects out slightly farther than the one below.

The west elevation, above the lower neighboring buildings, is also clad in white brick. It has a bay of single-windows at the front edge, followed by three more single-windows, and another single-window bay at the back edge.

The building contains 19 condominium units.
