  Very true, As my father and mother to this date would say, this was a pride for the city of Salem, being the oldest Cinema Studio in Tamilnadu. Some of the most all time movie hits and some of the best Kaviyarsau Kannadasan's (great Tamil Poet Laureate) creations have been acted and captured on camera here at this very location. Knowing the heritage of this site and its location value being close it is on the route to the hill station Yercaud, It has recently (2005-2006) been re-developed by a local builder into closely packed residential houses with some commercial outlets in the vicinity. There is a Shridi Sai baba temple in about 15 minute walk which is a now a land mark in this area. All of my extended family parents, aunt and sisters family live in this new development. This site has a backdrop of mountain folds and nice greenery, hoping mankind would not cause any further damage.

  modern theatre ( 2007-2008 )..... now it has become a prestigious place , because of the local builder in salem city. his creativity is good. i visited the place last year it feels for me that ientered into some foreign country... its colorful
