At the 2015 local government reform it became a subdivision of the municipality Tirana.
The population at the 2011 census was 6,272.
It consists of 10 villages:

4. Varosh
5. Maknor
6. Dorëz
7. Gror
8. Grecë
9. Pajan
10. Gjysylkanë.
