The Knickerbocker Icehouse was built at 173 Susquehanna Ave in the late 1920's and by the 1960's the building housed a discount store. After the structure was razed, the property along with the former neighboring Methodist church parking lot were turned into a park designed by architect Ronald Goodman in 1980.
