Established in 1981, Herfy has grown to become Saudi Arabia’s biggest and most successful fast food brand, and one of the Kingdom’s first fully integrated food services companies, with international
Food Safety Management System FSMS ISO 22000:2005 certification. The company’s activities comprise a GCC-wide chain of family restaurants, its own bakery factory and retail outlets, and a state of- the-art meat processing plant.

In 2000, the Almeer Group was approached by Herfy, as part of its regional expansion strategy. They selected Almeer for the Bahrain restaurant franchise due to its business track record, successful supermarket business, and knowledge of the retail food sector. Despite growing competition in the Kingdom’s fast food sector, Herfy has built a loyal following. To date, three outlets have been opened located in Manama, Hoora and Muharraq.
