Point located in the central part of the eastern coast of Clarence Island, opposite Sugarloaf Island.
The name corresponds to Julio Manquilef, chilean Navy, who showed a high spirit of sacrifice to fulfill tasks of diving in the Antarctic for the gleaning of two anchors for the Chilean Antarctic Expedition of 1952.
