Khert' (Armenian: Խերթ) or Erence (Turkish: Erence) is a village in Armenian Highlands inside of modern Turkey's border. Before the Armenian genocide there was Armenian village named Khert'. At the middle there was Armenian monastery named Tukh Manuk. After the Hamidian massacres in 1890th at the east of the village a Kurdish quarter appeared at place of those Armenian houses emptied during the massacre. Rest of the Armenians were massacred by Turks during (the Armenain genocide) in 1915-23.
