Manchester Velodrome is a velodrome in Manchester.
Opened in September 1994, it is the United Kingdom's leading indoor Olympic-standard cycle track and was used to host the track cycling events in the 2002 Commonwealth Games. The track has a reputation for quick times; as of 24 December 2005, twelve current cycling world records were set at the Velodrome, including Chris Boardman's World Hour Record and the 4000 m pursuit record set by the Australian men's team.
Today it is home to the National Cycling Centre, and the headquaters of British Cycling, the national governing body for cycling.
