Once the surroundings of the pond filled with big Palm Trees(Tal gach), and the big pond contains a very fresh water, it is so fresh that the dwellers of the village purulpara used to drink this water. But now the 'palm trees' and the 'pond's drinking water' became a history or just a grandfather's bedtime story.
