A Coal Mine in China owned by Shenhua. Part of Shendong operations. Uses longwall methods and continuous miner. Buertai Coal Mine was invested RMB4.758 billion totally from China Shenhua Energy Company Limited, with a scale of 20 million tons per year. It combines coal preparation plant and mine railway special lines. Its shafts, in the form of inclined or footrill combined exploiting, are equipped with three longwell fully mechanized coal faces and five successively mechanized coal faces and zone picking ventilating system. It adopts dense medium shallow slots and dense medium cyclone for coal preparation. Its industrial field sits at southeast side of Jinfeng Cuncaota coal mine, with power supplied by Buertai 110KV transformer station and Hongmeizi 220KV transformer station, water from treated mine drainage and surrounding source. Coal products are transported outside by newly-built railway special lines. It is recorded that it was a first super-huge industrial mine with the largest productive capability, hoisting capability of main transportation system and coal washing and dressing capability in the world. Bu’ertai Coal Preparation Plant with the construction specification of 31 million t/a, it is the largest mine complex type coal separation plant throughout the world. It is used for washing the raw coal from 4 pairs of mine shafts, namely Bu’ertai Coal Mine (20 million tons /year), Jinfeng Cuncaota Coal Mine (3 million t/a), Wanli Cuncaota Coal Mine (5 million t/a) and Liuta Coal Mine (3 million t/a).Technology for coal separation is: dense medium and shallow slot is used for preparing the lump coal with the grade of 200~13mm; compressive double-product dense medium swirler is used for preparing the slack coal with the grade of 13~1.5mm; the coordinate process of classifying swirler coarse silt coal recovery is used for preparing the coal with the grade of -1.5mm.
