The Camden Speedway was also known as the Camden Racetrack. Norman (Norm) Hall built the Camden Racetrack in Lynd, Minnesota. It was built in the 1950s and the track was in existence for approximately 6 years. The land was owned by the Olin family of Lynd. It was a car race track, 1/4 mile long, but 3/8 mile long around the outside lane. In 1962, the L-P Ranch Rodeo was held at Camden Speedway. The track was built in/near Camden State Park which is surrounded by farmlands and very small townships. The remains of the track can still be viewed.
