A little oasis in the middle of the desert below Abu Tartur Plateau. many remains of a Roman settlemen, including a fort, two temple and a large necropolis where more than 500 mummies were discovered (still some mortal remains are to be seen in the graves). If you reach the site (4x4 only) ask for Sayid Taleb. He takes care of the gardens and will be pleased to show you around.
