  • Hi guys I am one of the first students of this school. The school was opened in 1969 for 7th & 8th grade students.I was in 8-B. Ato Mekuria Mamo was the first director of the school. A very admireable person . He he was controlling the school very efficiently. I always remember the quotation under out school ID picture "BEZIH BEMIYALFEW GIZYACHIHU YEMAYALK EWKETN GEBYU" and signed by him. If I remember correctly, Wzo. Belaynesh was the assistsnt director. I remember those Indian science and geography teachers, Mrs. Elias, Mrs. Thamby And Mrs. Kurian & Mrs Pahuja the math teacher. The American peace corps teachers Mr. Borak, Mr. Swafer & Mr Garside, The HSIU service teachers Ato Girma Seyoum(history) Ato Getachew Belachew (history)and many others. In grade 9 Our English teacher from Ceylon, Mr. Vethareneam(Mr.V)his memory never goes away from my mind. I always remember the poems and the stories he was telling us and the discussion we had in class. Mr. Peli was our maths and physics teacher. He was also from Ceylon. The memory goes on...... I can`t tell all, if I want to talk about the students and my friends,There would be no limit for the story. For today I stop here. I might have forgotten to mention some of the great founders of the school . I am sure there is somebody who has a better memory than me. You can correct me if I have missed or distorted any story.
