The pavilion originally opened in 1989 with Body Wars and Cranium Command. The pavilion closed permanently in 2007. The pavilion will open as the Play! Pavilion in 2021.

  • This is currently being used for the Food and Wine Festival. Kinda creepy to walk around inside and see the still-hanging signs for Body Wars and other remnants of the former attraction.
  • This is a really bad for Disney. They should destroy the pavilion, find a sponsor, or just keep it open year-round.
  • (Note I am not the Anonymous above I am a diffrent one) When I was there a couple months ago you couldn't even tell it was there minus the Gold dome peeking out from beyond the trees.
  • They should rebuild Horizons in this complex. That way we would all be happy.
  • the unique DNA strand at the entrance is 72 feet high

  • I HAV'NT BEEN ON BODY WARS BACK IN 2007 I WANTED TO RIDE BUT SAW IT CLOSED I WAS SAD BECAUSE I WANTED GO ON IT IT WOULD BE MUCH BETTER IF THEY CAN REOPEN IT AGIN I DON'T EVEN SEE WHY THEY CLOSED NOW THAT IS NOT GOOD BY LEAVING IT EMPTY LIKE THAT.
  • Why spend the money to destroy a building which is not unpleasant to see, and still serves a useful purpose?
  • It's being used for the ride lines of the new Guardians of the Galaxy roller-coaster to the North-West of it. I believe it's been stripped, but the building will be put back into use soon!
