This was my post-secondary school. Only kids with a good academic performance (and those who can pass the admission test) can come to this institute. I was number five in the "escalafon" (academic performance list) This again was a "sleep-in" school, 24 days in and 6 days out, and some weekends out if you behaved well enough... besides all the work in the "huerto escolar" (school farm) we were required to spend a month in the mountains of "Sagua de Tanamo" collecting coffee beans... I rather not remember those times... if I was living in Cuba still, and I had kids, I will NEVER allow them to do such thing.
